Hi! Just answering your question, "oh did you see Mr. Blue Sky? i saw you had a trailer at the end of your blog. i haven't seen it yet but it looked interesting and wondered if it was worth getting." on my last post.
We did buy the DVD. I admit that I found the movie to be overacted by a few actors, with the exception of Ashley Wolfe and Chaney Kley, who are the main characters. The editing of this movie is poor as well.
I always hesitate to post negative things about a movie with such great intentions. The message is a positive one, for sure, and although most of society would balk at the storyline, I can see it happening in real life.
Your local chapter of the Down Syndrome Association or library may have a copy to borrow? It's worth a watch because I think we hardly ever get the pleasure of watching people with Down syndrome in media.
