So far things are going really well. Maya has a great team at school. I am so grateful that she has such great teachers and aides. She is excited to get on the bus every morning. This is a good sign.
I realize that I don't have as much time to write as I used to so I'm trying a new approach and will post just a few lines here with images.
Last week we did intense potty training and so far things seems to be going really well at school. Monday she had an entirely dry day and yesterday also. Only one accident the other times and only at school. I see a change in Maya. She is starting to go to the potty without me having to drag her there. This morning after I asked her if she had to go potty, she did not give me her usual "no" answer. She got up on her own and walked to the potty. I'm hoping this is it. We have come close several times and then things seem to slowly fall apart by the third week. So here's to success during our second week! All that matters is that we keep trying.
As with everything, Maya gets to her goal in her own pace. I honor that.

Looking out the bus, ready to go to school. |
In the afternoon, Maya made sure the bus driver was wearing his hat. |
Bye, bye, bus! See you tomorrow. |
